Beyond Noise

Beyond Noise presents a series of fashion editorials captured by photographer Emily Lipson, featuring fashion editing and styling by Alexandra Bickerdike. The imagery leans into a raw and contemporary aesthetic, utilizing natural light to highlight textures in layered denim, structured tailoring, and metallic fringe apparel. The project maintains a consistent tone through varied urban settings and indoor environments. With hair styling by Nicolas Philippon and makeup by Allie Smith, the visuals employ a mix of moody and clean lighting techniques to define the silhouettes. Casting was managed by Madeleine Østlie, with set design by Alice Jacobs, completing a collection of portraits that lean into grainy, analogue film textures and gritty, low-key chiaroscuro compositions.
