About

Wonderland China presents an editorial fashion portrait series captured by photographer Yeongjun Kim. This collection leans into observational and cinematic storytelling, employing techniques such as fisheye distortion, natural light, and grainy textures to frame the subject across various urban and studio environments. The imagery transitions between structured, moody compositions and relaxed, candid portraits. The series features a range of detailed styling, from pinstriped tailoring and layered knits to textured leather and patterned accessories. By utilising both clean studio backdrops—including chalkboard-lined walls—and weathered outdoor alleyways, the work maintains a consistent, raw aesthetic. The production was supported by casting director Even Yu and producer Lee Kyung Kim.
