Amica
TOMBOYish

Apr 2026
Amica’s TOMBOYish project serves as a compelling study in contemporary androgyny, masterfully capturing the intersection of high-end luxury fashion and relaxed, utilitarian comfort. Through a series of carefully curated compositions, the campaign leans into a deliberate editorial minimalism that elevates the oversized silhouette. Photographer Mark Pillai brings a refined lens to the project, utilizing a delicate balance of natural light and precise studio strobe setups to emphasize the architectural quality of the layered ensembles. Stylist Claudia Carretti plays a pivotal role in the visual narrative, curating a wardrobe that navigates the tension between masculine tailoring and feminine grace, punctuated by the clean, intentional work of hair stylist Davide Perfetti and makeup artist Filippo Ferrari. The project features model Tia Edney, whose poised, direct gaze and grounded presence help anchor the series within a modern lifestyle context. By prioritizing clean lines, neutral backdrops, and an almost tactile focus on textiles like leather, denim, and suede, the work reads as a sophisticated exploration of identity through clothing. Each portrait, whether captured against the soft diffusion of a window or the stark clarity of a studio white wall, reinforces the brand's commitment to timeless aesthetic rigor. The result is an evocative fashion editorial that feels both intellectually curated and effortlessly wearable, cementing its place within the broader conversation of modern luxury.
