Albion Magazine’s 'Fixer Upper' is a monochromatic fashion editorial that juxtaposes high-end styling with the utilitarian mundanity of automotive repair. Captured by photographer Patrick Bienert, the series leans into a documentary aesthetic, utilizing analogue film and natural light to document a model interacting with various vintage hatchbacks in residential street settings. Art direction by Andy Knappett provides a structured, graphic contrast to the subjects, who are styled by Katie Shaw in a mix of tailored outerwear, sculptural footwear, and graphic prints. With hair by Moe Mukai and casting by Simone Schofer, the project maintains a gritty, observant tone, framed against the backdrop of British terraced housing and industrial garage lockups.
