Alaïa
Summer Fall 2023 Ad Campaign

Sep 2023
For the Alaïa Summer Fall 2023 campaign, the house bridges the gap between domestic intimacy and architectural precision, channeling the brand’s quintessential Parisian edge within the stark, concrete surroundings of creative director Pieter Mulier’s private home in Antwerp. Captured through the lens of photographer Tyrone Lebon, the imagery leans into a narrative of elevated quietude, where the focus remains steadfast on the sculptural silhouettes of the collection. Model Anok Yai commands the space, her movements framed by the cold, structural beauty of exposed concrete and minimalist interiors. Stylist Aleksandra Woroniecka emphasizes the graphic impact of the brand’s signature polka-dot bodysuits, creating a dialogue between the organic form of the human figure and the rigid, industrial environment. The editorial composition utilizes natural light to soften the austere backdrop, allowing the live-action technique and candid framing to breathe life into the static frame. By centering the work in a personal sanctuary, the campaign avoids the artifice of a studio, opting instead for a raw, authentic texture that defines modern luxury fashion. The interplay of high-angle details, such as the metallic elevator panels, juxtaposed with the fluidity of the model’s reach, reflects a precise, intentional creative vision that treats the fashion house’s heritage with both respect and a rigorous, contemporary lens.
