Alaïa
Fall 2026 Ad Campaign

Aug 2026
The Alaïa Fall 2026 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in luxury fashion imagery, stripping away the superfluous to celebrate the intersection of form, texture, and movement. Through the lens of photographer and director David Sims, the campaign leans into a sophisticated, editorial minimalism that prioritizes the house’s iconic silhouettes over elaborate artifice. Featuring Teyana Taylor as the central talent, these monochromatic compositions utilize low-key chiaroscuro lighting and cinematic framing to elevate everyday studio portraiture into something timeless. The visuals emphasize a tactile quality, where the interplay of light against metallic chainmail, structured leather, and form-fitting textiles becomes the narrative itself. Creative director and stylist Aleksandra Woroniecka orchestrates a cohesive vision, complemented by the intricate, textured wet-look hair styling from Rio Sreedharan and precise makeup artistry by Yadim Carranza. The campaign expertly captures a sense of dynamic poise, with Taylor’s confident, angled postures anchoring the clean, light grey backdrop. By blending commercial accessibility with an unwavering high-fashion sensibility, the series showcases how deliberate, soft light and bold, serif typography can create a lasting brand identity. Every frame acts as a piece of polished editorial collateral, highlighting the inherent architecture of the garments while maintaining an intimate, human connection that resonates well beyond the traditional page.
