Alaïa
'Archetypes' Fall 2026 Ad Campaign

May 2026
For the Alaïa Archetypes Fall 2026 ad campaign, the maison strips back the noise of modern luxury to focus on the interplay between form and silhouette. Photographer Tyrone Lebon captures the essence of the collection through a series of striking studio portraits that lean into editorial minimalism, utilizing sharp studio strobe lighting to emphasize the architectural integrity of the garments. Central to the campaign is Hailey Bieber, who brings a controlled, graceful energy to the frame, whether reclining or posing with elongated, dramatic gestures. The visuals, heavily defined by vibrant red tones and clean off-white backgrounds, maintain a sophisticated tension that bridges commercial appeal and high fashion artistry. Under the creative vision of Pieter Mulier, alongside Ezra Petronio and Lana Petrusevych, the campaign eschews elaborate sets for a stark, focused aesthetic that highlights the intricate cutout details and voluminous, pleated textiles signature to the house. By integrating large, bold serif typography directly into the composition, the project leans into a classic Parisian sensibility, firmly grounding the campaign in the heritage of the label while pushing a contemporary, editorial narrative. The result is a refined visual language that serves as an exercise in purity, letting the construction of the clothing stand as the primary subject against a neutral backdrop.
