40MUSTAQEL
Brand Identity

Apr 2025
This brand identity project for 40MUSTAQEL explores the intersection of editorial design and tactile print production. The collection features a series of booklets and books characterized by bold typographic layouts, featuring high-contrast Arabic and English lettering alongside intricate black and white illustrations. The execution, captured through photography by Sherifa Hamid, emphasizes a minimalist approach to graphic design. Utilizing a consistent aesthetic that balances structured grid lines with organic editorial pacing, the project utilizes clean lighting and desaturated color palettes to highlight the materiality of the publications. Throughout the series, the focus remains on the relationship between form and function, with geometric shapes and catalogue markers defining the visual language of the brand. The work employs a variety of techniques, including analogue film and live-action sequences, to document the physical interaction with the printed materials.
