10+: Staying Power

Staying Power is a fashion editorial series for 10+ Magazine that explores the intersection of classical portraiture and kinetic motion. Under the editorial leadership of Sophia Neophitou, the project captures model Mofeoluwa Onasanya in a range of highly textured, layered ensembles. Photographer Harriet MacSween employs experimental techniques—including long-exposure shutter drag and multiple-exposure sequences—to infuse the static editorial format with a sense of continuous, rhythmic movement. Fashion editor Garth Spencer orchestrates the styling, pairing voluminous silhouettes, intricate beadwork, and bold satin accents against minimalist studio backdrops. The execution transitions between moody, chiaroscuro-inspired lighting and softer, warm directional illumination. Technical contributions include hair styling by Tomi Roppongi and makeup by Megumi Matsuno, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic that emphasizes both sharp tailoring and fluid, tactile details.
