Bio

Matt Benns is a hairstylist based in New York. He began his career as a salon apprentice in Auckland under esteemed stylist Stephen Marr, quickly rising to the role of Creative Director at the same salon while also serving as Creative Director for Sans Ceuticals. In 2018, he joined the team of renowned hairstylist Jawara Wauchope, where he expanded his skills and knowledge in hairstyling for various hair types and styles. Matt is dedicated to collaborating with clients to create unique looks, working with high-profile figures such as Grammy-winning artist Lorde, and brands including Proenza Schouler, Glossier, Marc Jacobs, and Dior.
