Kenny Germé, born in 1991, is a Parisian photographer whose evocative imagery transcends traditional fashion narratives. An internship at a fashion publication was pivotal, igniting his passion for photography as a medium for narrative expression. In his work, Kenny challenges conventional notions of beauty in fashion photography, striving instead to authentically portray his subjects. He crafts striking images that prioritize emotion, composition, and narrative depth, inviting viewers to engage with the stories behind the lens. Drawing inspiration from his Caribbean heritage, as well as the vibrant influences of punk, jazz, and hip-hop culture, Kenny’s photography is a dynamic fusion of personal history and contemporary artistry, making his work both relatable and compelling.
