Jerrie-Joy is a food stylist, art director and prop stylist, cook, recipe developer and ocean swimmer. Her work ranges from editorial, TVC, film, catalogue and packaging. After graduating film school with a masters in production design, Jerrie-Joy worked as a set dresser and stylist in Sydney before moving to London and spending 5 years, styling for film & TV and cooking in a few kitchens. A role as food co-ordinator on Masterchef, Australia took her back home to Sydney. Jerrie-Joy, went on to style food, props and sets for some of Australia’s biggest magazines and food brands before taking the position of Food Editor at Australian Gourmet Traveller. Then in 2015, the Lower East Side of Manhattan, became home. During her four-ish years in New York City, she worked with The New York Times, Williams Sonoma, Crate and Barrel and Weight Watchers, to name a few. With some amazing memories made and many, many slices of pizza had, the beach beckoned a little too loudly, so she and Bob, moved home to sunny Sydney. With a packed shipping container of collected props, art, vintage lamps and way too many ceramic pieces. She now lives between Sydney and New York City. Mostly Sydney. If Jerrie is not in the kitchen or in the aisles of a prop house, you’ll find her in the ocean.
