Devin Allen is an acclaimed photographer and passionate activist residing in Baltimore, Maryland, renowned for his profound work in photojournalism and portrait photography. With an eye for capturing the essence of social movements, he garnered national acclaim when his striking documentary photograph, "Baltimore Uprising," graced the cover of Time Magazine in May 2015, encapsulating the spirit of the Freddie Gray protests. As a staff photographer for Under Armour, Devin has collaborated on a series of high-profile photoshoots featuring NBA superstar Steph Curry, blending sports and storytelling in visually compelling ways. Beyond his professional endeavors, Devin is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of photographers. He has generously donated over 400 cameras to aspiring young artists in Baltimore, New York, and Oakland, while also conducting free workshops to equip them with essential skills in photography. In 2017, Devin published his first photography book, *A Beautiful Ghetto*, which offers an intimate glimpse into the lives and culture of Baltimore's communities. His impactful work has earned him recognition as a Gordon Parks Fellow and a Leica ambassador, affirming his status as a significant voice in contemporary photography and activism.
