Description

This photograph by David Boni captures two engineers standing inside the open nacelle of a large wind turbine during sunset. The engineers wear high-visibility safety jackets and hard hats while performing maintenance. The massive white turbine nacelle features an open hatch revealing internal machinery. In the background, a flat landscape with low vegetation, bodies of water, and distant wind turbines stretches toward the horizon under a soft twilight sky. Natural lighting casts long shadows across the metallic surfaces.
