Description

This striking photographic work by Balazs Gardi captures two individuals standing in a dark field at dusk, holding the tether of a large white weather balloon aloft. The ambient glow of the setting sun creates a soft gradient across the sky behind the silhouetted figures and distant tree line. One person wears a dark coat and beanie while the other wears an orange jacket, standing near a horizontal metal cylinder resting on the ground. The composition is balanced vertically with rich dark tones in the foreground and warm hues in the upper sky.
