Balazs Gardi, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This photograph by Balazs Gardi captures a helicopter hovering above a ship deck, viewed through the windows of a cockpit at dusk. Two crew members are silhouetted in the foreground, observing the aircraft as it positions for landing. The cool blue tones of the ocean and evening sky contrast with warm interior instrument lighting and reflections on the glass. The composition uses the dark framing of the cockpit to draw focus outward toward the active flight deck scene. The natural lighting and observational framing emphasize the realism of the moment.
