Vincent Bousserez, Photographer, Paris

Description

This striking black and white photograph by Vincent Bousserez captures a young boy seated on a windowsill, silhouetted against a brilliant source of natural light pouring in through open shutter doors. The interior space is cast in deep shadow, emphasizing the high-contrast chiaroscuro lighting and the contemplative mood of the subject. A piece of dark furniture stands on the left, while the corner of a simple bed is visible in the lower right foreground. The composition highlights traditional interior architecture and the dramatic interplay of harsh light and profound shadow.
