About

This landscape photograph features a towering, craggy mountain peak capped with patches of snow and ice. The steep slopes below the summit are densely covered with a vast expanse of dark green pine and fir forests stretching across the lower mountain ranges. In the immediate foreground, slender bare trees and evergreens stand out against the shadowed lower slopes. The scene is illuminated by soft, natural daylight under a pale, muted sky. The composition captures a serene and vast wilderness environment photographed by Jo Metson Scott for Toast.
