Description

This landscape photograph by Thomas Prior captures a powerful controlled burn sweeping across an open dry grass field. A dense wall of vibrant orange and yellow flames erupts in the foreground, crackling with intense heat and sending up thick dark smoke. In the midground, silhouetted figures stand near the roaring fire against a backdrop of bare trees under an overcast sky. The wide composition emphasizes the raw scale and elemental force of the blaze across the natural terrain.
