About

Two figures are silhouetted against a dramatic backdrop of billowing orange smoke and vapor at night, standing on a dark elevated ridge. The ambient glow from the smoke illuminates the scene from behind, casting sharp silhouettes of the two individuals. The surrounding landscape is obscured by deep shadow, creating high contrast against the fiery atmospheric display in the sky. The composition emphasizes the scale of the smoke cloud relative to the human forms. The photograph was taken by Andy Hatton.
