Skittles Settle It 2015

Description

This comedic commercial for Skittles, titled Settle It, features a series of escalating humorous disputes in a remote desert town where every local resident possesses cartoonishly massive, bulging biceps. Two men sitting on a weathered porch argue over lime-flavored candies before deciding to resolve the conflict in the usual way, prompting townspeople across various locations to flex their impossibly muscular arms. The production utilizes natural daylight, a desaturated color palette, and deadpan comedic acting to contrast the mundane setting with the surreal visual effects. Directed with cinematic flair, the spot includes scenes set outside wooden storefronts, inside a barbershop, and a crowded dusty square.
