About

This monochrome photographic portrait features four shirtless boys of varying ages seated in a row on concrete steps against a light-coloured exterior wall. The image is captured in black and white, emphasizing high-contrast lighting and sharp natural textures on skin, hair, and the surrounding concrete surface. The boy in the center holds a pair of swimming goggles above his head, while the others rest their arms on their knees or lean forward with direct gazes toward the camera. The composition is structured frontally, presenting an observational study of youth captured by photographer Robin De Puy in Amsterdam.
