About

This black and white portrait, captured by photographer Rob Palmer in Sydney, depicts a young family seated on outdoor steps against a pale wall. A smiling man and woman sit on either side of a toddler who stands between them, all holding small pieces of food. The man wears a t-shirt, shorts, and patterned socks, while the woman wears a short-sleeved dress and sandals. A glass bottle rests on the ground to the left, and a patch of grass is visible in the immediate foreground. The natural, candid moment is rendered with high contrast and sharp focus on the subjects.
