About

This black and white photograph features four shirtless young men seated in a row on a wooden slatted outdoor deck. The men wear patterned boardshorts and are captured in a candid, relaxed moment with natural daylight illuminating the scene. The composition employs a horizontal orientation with a shallow depth of field, softly blurring the background foliage. The textured wooden planks of the deck lead the eye across the frame while highlighting the varied postures and expressions of the subjects.
