Ōpuke Thermal Pools and Spa 2024 2024

About

A close-up view captures a person floating serenely in the water at Opuke Thermal Pools and Spa, with only their face and upper shoulders breaking the surface. Gentle ripples radiate around the head, creating soft concentric circles across the water's glassy expanse. The lighting is warm and natural, casting subtle reflections and muted highlights across the gentle movement of the pool. Dick Sweeney photographed the scene under the creative direction of Dave Brady as part of the 2024 project. The composition maintains an intimate, tranquil atmosphere with soft focus blur framing the edges of the water.
