Description

A sculptural arrangement of vintage and archival Moynat trunks and hard-sided suitcases stacked vertically in a classical stone architectural alcove flanked by fluted pillars. The composition features various luggage silhouettes, including curved bottom automobile trunks, steamer trunks, and vanity cases in tones of blue, tan leather, olive green, burgundy, and monogrammed canvas. Photographed by Francois Halard with set design by Mathilde Vallantin Dulac for the Moynat M Collection, the still life is lit with soft, diffused architectural light accentuating the patinated brass hardware, leather handles, and travel labels.
