Modern Weekly China Encountering an Ancient Village 2026

Description

This editorial photograph, captured by Ye Fei for Modern Weekly China as part of the project Encountering an Ancient Village, features model Luoyi posing outdoors. The model wears a light blue collared long-sleeve shirt with arms raised overhead, framed against an elevated view of a traditional rural village and rolling green hills. Natural daylight illuminates the scene, highlighting the relaxed and authentic outdoor atmosphere. The composition balances the subject in the foreground with the sprawling architectural textures of the village below.
