Microsoft Minecraft Mangroves: Building a Better World 2024

Description

This video piece for the Microsoft project Minecraft Mangroves: Building a Better World juxtaposes real-world footage of coastal mangrove forests and marine life with gameplay sequences. The visual narrative transitions between drone shots of dense canopies, underwater views of tangled roots and swimming sharks, and pixelated digital reconstructions. Natural lighting highlights the organic textures of muddy banks and interlaced branches, creating an environmental awareness campaign combining gaming culture with ecological conservation.
