Microsoft brings environmental awareness to the forefront in this campaign for Minecraft Mangroves: Building a Better World. The project bridges the digital and physical realms, juxtaposing drone-captured documentary footage of coastal mangrove ecosystems against 3D render and CGI recreations of the habitat within the game. Developed with creative direction from McCann North America, the piece highlights ecological conservation by tracing the organic textures of underwater root systems and muddy banks. Production handled by Sound Off Films anchors the narrative, while sound design by Marmoset and Lime underscores the transition between live-action technique and gameplay sequences.
