Meredith Jenks, Photographer, New York

Description

An overhead capture by photographer Meredith Jenks showing a single discarded cigarette partially submerged in murky, dark water. The cigarette features a stained white paper tube, a burnt filter end, and a red lipstick mark on the tip. The dark, reflective surface of the water surrounds the floating object, creating a stark and gritty urban still life.
