Mason Poole, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

An overhead vertical photograph captures a person lying flat on their back on an expanse of dry, cracked earth with arms outstretched wide. The subject wears an olive green jacket and light grey trousers with distinctive stitched knee patterns, positioned head-first toward the top of the frame. Long soft shadows stretch across the textured ground from the low-angle natural daylight. In the distant background, flat arid terrain meets a hazy horizon under a pale sky. Photographer Mason Poole frames the scene from above, creating a stark and expansive composition in Los Angeles.
