About

This expansive landscape photograph captures three cyclists riding their bicycles across a wide, flat desert plain under a dramatic, cloud-filled sky. Low mountains stretch across the distant horizon, framing the vast open terrain below. Natural daylight illuminates the scene, casting subtle shadows across the arid ground. The composition emphasizes scale and isolation as the three figures make their way across the expansive desert. Captured by photographer Clayton Cotterell.
