Mahaneela, Photographer, London

Description

A close-up photograph captures a monarch butterfly with distinctive orange and black patterned wings resting gently on a person's outstretched finger. The dark-skinned hand is positioned in the foreground with soft, natural side lighting highlighting the skin texture and the translucent details of the butterfly wings. In the background, a plain neutral wall and a bright window create a simple, diffused setting that draws focus entirely to the subject. The composition is intimate and observational, captured by photographer Mahaneela.
