Katie Thompson, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This dramatic vertical photograph by Los Angeles-based photographer Katie Thompson features a stark silhouette of a person captured mid-air against an expansive sky filled with heavy grey and white clouds. The subject is angled dynamically, with limbs extended as if falling, diving, or leaping through the atmosphere. The high-contrast silhouette emphasizes the clean contours of the figure against the textured, overcast sky. Subtle branding text appears in the lower left corner of the frame.
