Jason Hindley, Photographer, Paris

Description

This vertical still life photograph by Jason Hindley features a carefully balanced vertical stack of objects arranged on a flat stone surface. At the base rests a glazed ceramic jug with an earthy olive tone and a dark footed base. A round green watermelon with subtle lighter stripes sits balanced on top of the pitcher, supporting a ripe red and yellow mango at the very apex. The composition is lit with directional light casting a distinct shadow to the left, set against a pale speckled concrete or stone wall background.
