James Meakin, Photographer, Cape Town

Description

A figure dressed in a form-fitting black bodysuit is captured in a striking low crouching pose on dry, cracked earth. The stark composition emphasizes the sweeping lines of the body against the textured ground under natural sunlight. The image is part of a photographic series by James Meakin set in Cape Town. Long shadows stretch across the parched landscape, highlighting the dry terrain and minimalist framing. The muted earth tones contrast sharply with the solid dark silhouette of the subject.
