Description

A green glass pitcher and a matching small glass filled with water sit upon a large, circular wooden tray with visible grain. A single lemon slice floats inside the pitcher, catching the light. Strong, warm sunlight streams across the scene, casting long shadows and creating bright highlights on the green glass surfaces and the wooden tray below. The composition is captured from a high angle, emphasizing the rich textures of the wood and the translucent qualities of the glassware. Photographed in Cape Town by Inge Prins.
