Description

An elderly man is seated in a wheeled office chair inside a densely cluttered studio or study, captured in a vertical composition by photographer Hugh Stewart. He rests his chin on his hand in a pensive pose, wearing a dark jacket over a light-coloured shirt and dark trousers. The walls behind him are heavily decorated with an eclectic assortment of framed pictures, small objects, trinkets, and artifacts. To his right, a large wooden desk is piled with papers, books, a laptop, and an articulated desk lamp casting a warm light over the workspace. The overall atmosphere is intimate and documentary in style, highlighting the rich textures and personal character of the creative environment.
