Description

A powerful nighttime photograph captures a vivid bolt of lightning branching dramatically across a dense canopy of dark, heavy storm clouds. Below the turbulent sky, an urban city skyline stretches across the horizon, glowing with scattered lights against the dark terrain. The high-contrast composition emphasizes the stark electrical illumination cutting through the atmospheric darkness. The image was captured by photographer Holger Pooten in Berlin, showcasing dramatic meteorological phenomena over an urban landscape.
