Description

This dynamic video project titled Folio for Squarespace features a skateboarder navigating urban environments, captured through a mix of street-level action, candid motion, and overhead perspectives. Directed by Jamie Brewer with production by Monster Children, the piece combines skateboarding footage with scenes of the subject capturing urban life through photography. The visual style incorporates natural sunlight, lens flares, and varied urban settings, including streets, historic buildings, and public squares. The central figure wears a dark patterned sweater, brown trousers, and black sneakers, moving fluidly through the cityscape. The editing balances fast-paced tracking shots with calmer observational moments, creating a textured portrait of street culture and visual storytelling.
