Elsa Martino, Illustrator, Paris

Description

This vertical photographic image captures a large, colourful floor mural installation created by illustrator Elsa Martino in a multi-story shopping centre in Paris. The vibrant artwork is laid directly onto the grey concrete ground of the open-plan central atrium, featuring stylized abstract human figures and geometric shapes in bold primary colours, including bright red, deep blue, soft pink, and yellow. Surrounding the ground-level installation are modern retail storefronts, glass balustrades, and multi-level walkways leading up to an expansive, grid-patterned glass roof that allows natural daylight to fill the large interior space.
