Freda Chiu, Illustrator, Sydney

Description

A massive vertical red banner featuring festive Lunar New Year pig illustrations hangs prominently within the multi-level atrium of a shopping centre in Sydney. The artwork showcases playful pig characters alongside golden design elements, text reading 2019, and the galleries branding. Below the suspended banner, escalators ascend between retail levels lined with shops and restaurants under a glass ceiling. The composition captures the vibrant promotional installation from a low-angle viewpoint within the bustling commercial interior.
