Lula Japan Definitive Declaration 2026

Description

This editorial image captured by photographer Bharat Sikka for Lula Japan's project Definitive Declaration features a large promotional poster mounted on a brightly colored wall. The central poster displays a man dressed in a traditional white and red marching band uniform complete with epaulettes and a decorative cap, seated proudly next to a large blue and white bass drum bearing the inscription Royal Band. Additional smaller photographs and colorful signage surround the central display, with a white electrical outlet and hanging string lights intersecting the lower portion of the frame. The composition has an authentic documentary feel, capturing local signage and cultural pageantry with direct flash illumination.
