Brian Kelley, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This portrait photograph by Los Angeles-based photographer Brian Kelley captures a craftsman shaping a large, glowing vessel of blown glass inside a rustic workshop. The artisan is focused on his work, applying a torch directly to the center of the molten glass orb, which radiates a bright, warm amber flame. He wears an unbuttoned overshirt and t-shirt, leaning over a metal workbench filled with tools. The background consists of dark wooden walls, shelving holding glassware, and a small window letting in natural daylight. The lighting is intimate and warm, emphasizing the intense heat and rich textures of the glass and workshop interior.
