Antonia Steyn, Photographer, Cape Town

Description

A striking portrait by photographer Antonia Steyn in Cape Town captures a black female netball player in a green and yellow uniform holding a netball. The composition utilises multiple exposure techniques, creating vibrant motion trails and ghosted figures that flow across the dark background. The central subject stands sharply in focus while the surrounding blurred repetitions convey a sense of rapid movement and athletic energy. Warm lighting accents the textures of her athletic wear against the deep, indistinct backdrop.
