Among Equals 2023

Description

This editorial portrait captured by photographer Hannah Scott-stevenson for the project Among Equals depicts several individuals along a dirt pathway outdoors. In the foreground, a prominent woman stands facing the camera wearing patterned garments and carrying woven bags with geometric designs, while an older woman beside her holds a large bunch of green bananas. Further down the path in the background, other figures including a child are walking away amidst trees and soft natural lighting. The scene employs documentary-style framing and an earthy color palette that highlights the traditional textiles and natural surroundings.
