Description

This close-up top-down photograph captures a detailed arrangement in coarse brown sand, featuring a precisely carved four-pointed star shape alongside a shallow circular impression. The grainy texture of the sandy surface is sharply lit from the side, casting subtle shadows within the indentations to accentuate the form. The composition focuses entirely on the textured ground, highlighting the tactile qualities of the material. Set design work created by Alicia Sciberras in New York.
