Zara
Studio Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Mar 2025
The Zara Studio Spring 2025 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping back the noise to focus entirely on the interplay between garment texture and human form. Under the visionary creative direction of Fabien Baron and the definitive lens of photographer Steven Meisel, the collection comes alive through a series of high-contrast black-and-white portraits. The campaign leans into a sophisticated, raw aesthetic, utilizing 35mm film and medium format capture to ground the luxury fashion house in a tactile, authentic space. Each frame, set against a stark, high-key white background, emphasizes the intricate craftsmanship of the pieces, from heavily beaded embellishments and western-inspired suede to delicate floral lace and layered metallic hardware. Stylist Karl Templer curates a collection of silhouettes that feel both effortless and meticulously composed, while the hair artistry of Guido Palau and the makeup expertise of Pat McGrath provide a clean, intentional finish that complements the diverse pool of models. By incorporating classic film-style negative borders and technical markings, the work highlights the beauty of the analogue process, resulting in a series that feels inherently timeless and profoundly focused. This collaboration, supported by production house PRODn and casting by Ashley Brokaw, bridges the gap between commercial accessibility and the rigorous, avant-garde standards of luxury editorial fashion.
