Description

Crème de la Crème is a fashion editorial series for WSJ that adopts a scrapbooked, tactile approach to luxury storytelling. The project frames intricate apparel and high-end jewelry through a series of collage-like layouts, where photographic prints are presented against folder backgrounds using masking tape and layered paper elements. This presentation creates the impression of a designer’s mood board or an intimate, hand-assembled portfolio. The work, photographed by Pablo Di Prima and styled by Giulia Revolo, features a monochrome and clean aesthetic that draws focus to the sculptural lines of the garments and detailed accessories. With hair by Pawel Solis and makeup by Lisa Michalik, the imagery maintains a polished look across both studio portraiture and environmental shots. Supporting production details include set design by Felix Gesnouin and casting by Julia Lange, with talent provided by model Betsy Gaghan.
