WRPD Magazine: ERKER

ERKER is a fashion editorial series for WRPD Magazine that explores the interplay between rigid architectural forms and human movement. Photographed by Artem Kononenko, the feature frames model Alex Shibaeva against the weathered stone embankments and historic riverfronts of an urban landscape, leveraging natural light to define the sculptural silhouettes of each garment. Fashion editor Caitlin Moriarty complements the stark, monumental backdrop with a wardrobe focused on texture and contrast. The styling transitions from voluminous cream faux fur to precise, avant-garde pieces with structured shoulders and high-neck cutouts. With a visual language that relies on clean compositions and monochrome film techniques, the project maintains an observational, contemplative mood throughout its multi-page layout.
